Wild Things was set up 15 years ago by a team of experienced ecologists and adventurers with a love of the outdoors and a passion for Tanzania. Over the years the company has built up a great reputation and brought together a tight, qualified and professional team capable of handling all manner of circumstance and arranging any kind of expedition.

With its head office in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Wild Things Logistics is well placed to access both the popular north and the more remote south of Tanzania. Years of experience running expeditions into the remote interior of the country have given the team a unique perspective on operating under sometimes difficult conditions.
Wild Things Logistics always uses reliable equipment specifically chosen for the conditions of each expedition. Vehicles preferred include the trusted Landrover for reliability in extreme mud and similar off-road conditions, and the sturdy Toyota Landcruiser when weight, strength and speed are required. On rivers and waterways, local dug outs and canoes are often the most suitable for accessing difficult areas. At sea, speedboats are useful for covering distances while the stately dhow can provide an excellent base for marine expeditions requiring the transport of a lot of equipment.
